The knife guy’s designs are unique and modern, however grounded in tradition and function. Inspiration is derived from traditional Japanese forms in conjunction with western blade geometry.

Japanese processes like differential heat treatment are implemented in a modern way to enhance and showcase the steels natural properties. 

The handles are heavily influenced by Japanese octagonal handles. Traditionally made with a two tone handle knife guy focuses on a simpler one material thin handle that compliments and seamlessly transitions from the square necks of the blades.
